Polymer mirror sheets combine a reflective backing with an acrylic or polycarbonate substrate. Specify the substrate, backing, finish and installation method together. Reflection quality, impact performance and durability depend on the complete construction and the way it is supported.

- Acrylic mirror: review appearance, color, machining and backing compatibility for the intended display or interior application.
- Polycarbonate mirror: identify the required impact behavior, surface treatment and fabrication limitations for the proposed grade.
- Reflection quality: agree a sample and viewing conditions. Sheet flatness, support and installation can affect distortion.
- Outdoor or public use: request evidence for weathering, edge protection, fixings and the applicable safety requirements. Do not infer approval from the substrate name.

Questions buyers ask
Are polymer mirror sheets unbreakable?
No. Avoid an unbreakable guarantee. Impact behavior depends on the substrate, thickness, backing, support and test conditions; request evidence relevant to the intended use.
Will a mirror sheet provide a distortion-free reflection?
Confirm an appearance sample and installation requirements. Reflection can be affected by sheet flatness, backing stress, adhesive and the support surface.
Can any adhesive or cleaner be used?
Confirm compatibility with both the polymer and reflective backing before use. Follow the selected supplier’s installation and cleaning instructions, and review a sample assembly where necessary.
