Large-diameter PMMA tube forms can be reviewed for aquarium viewing-cylinder projects where geometry, water loading and support design must be considered together.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Application and design brief
Project-specific viewing cylinders and cylindrical aquarium components, subject to engineering review.
Information to include in your RFQ
- Provide internal and external diameter, proposed wall thickness and overall height.
- State maximum water depth, supports, base connection and any bonded joints.
- Define optical inspection, access, lifting constraints and the required technical documentation.
Material and project review
Tube diameter and wall thickness are engineering selections, not stock recommendations. The responsible designer must review loading, deflection, joints, sealing and installation. No pressure rating or maximum diameter is claimed.
Available material, construction, dimensions, tolerances, finish, packing and lead time must be confirmed in the written quotation. Share the quantity, destination and project drawings so the team can review the scope.
Review the original material range and contact River People with your requirements.
